Why Hopewell Borough Feels More Like Vermont Than New Jersey
Hopewell Borough offers a side of Central New Jersey that many buyers don’t expect. Surrounded by approximately 6,000 acres of preserved open space, the borough has a historic, small-town atmosphere that feels distinctly different from many nearby communities.
Its downtown features local shops, cafés and restaurants, while the surrounding area includes destinations like the Sourland Mountain Preserve and Saint Michael’s. At the same time, residents remain within roughly 15–25 minutes of Princeton and about 15 minutes from Lambertville and New Hope.
